FUSION has six committees centering around various issues in our community. By focusing on these issues, we feel we can do our part to make Saint John an even better place to live, work and play. We encourage you to have your voice heard by joining a committee that interests you! Ambassadors Committee Are you new to the city or new to FUSION? Looking to meet new people and experience all Saint John has to offer, but not sure how? The Ambassadors committee is in place to ease the transition for newcomers by serving as a friendly and informative contact group and ensuring that new arrivals feel welcome and are able to meet people in their new city. Immigration Committee FUSION members realize that the future of our community depends on attracting and retaining people, particularly new immigrants. The Immigration Committee is in place to ensure that all FUSION members have a place to display, promote and share their culture. Community Engagement Committee Saint John's young residents have a lot to contribute - they just need to know where to direct their resources. The Community Engagement Committee liaises with local non-profit and charitable organizations to find opportunities for FUSION members to become involved. Arts & Culture Committee A good city is measured by the quality of its arts and culture, and Saint John ranks among the best. The Arts & Culture Committee highlights the talents of local artists, musicians and arts promoters. As well, they keep FUSION members informed about the myriad of diverse arts and culture opportunities in Saint John, including those infamous gallery hops! Urban Planning and Economic Development Committee The Economic and Urban Planning Committee ensures that FUSION members are aware of economic development and urban planning initiatives. When we see a gap, we plan and implement our own initiatives. From green spaces to urban places, the Urban Planning and Economic Development committee is for those who want a greater say in our community's urban renewal. Government Relations Committee Terms of reference to be developed by Committee in the coming months.
